Quality
Quality assurance is an integral and indispensable element of our work. The effective and efficient assurance of quality is a multi-dimensional process. It includes structural, organisational, technical, personnel-related, and linguistic aspects.
We use Trados project management and translation software from SDL to help us produce rational translations with consistent terminology and linguistic accuracy throughout. Aside from its many other benefits, the Trados system means we can create specific glossaries and apply your own chosen terminology.
To ensure the top-quality nature of our work, we apply a double verification rule incorporating the use of native speakers. This means that translation work is strictly performed by native speakers, and the resulting document is subsequently always proof-read by a professionally qualified colleague.
Confidentiality & data protection
It goes without saying that we will always treat all of your materials and documents as strictly confidential, whether they be submitted in an electronic or analogue format.
If requested, we can sign your own non-disclosure agreement. If you do not have one already, we can prepare an NDA specifically tailored to your confidentiality requirements. Please ask us if you would like to use this service.
If the matter necessitates that you consent to other parties having access to the materials you have provided to us, we will only grant such access after we have created contractual safeguards to ensure these parties are bound by a similar non-disclosure obligation. We’d be glad to discuss the details with you.
We do, of course, operate in accordance with the legal requirements set out in the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG).
